Undefeated Rugby Middle tops Polk Middle, 4-0

Undefeated Rugby Middle built a 3-0 halftime lead Monday and went on to top Polk County Middle 4-0 in Blue Ridge Conference girls soccer action at Utz Field.

The Wolverines (2-3) entered on a two-game winning streak and forced the Raiders (5-0) to work for each goal, but were unable to solve Rugby’s defense and produce a score.

Polk Middle is back in action on Tuesday, hosting Apple Valley in a matchup of teams currently tied for third place in the BRC’s East Division.
