Second-half strike helps Blue Devils blank Wolverines

Brevard Middle scored midway through the second half and held on to defeat Polk County Middle 1-0 in Thursday’s Blue Ridge Conference girls soccer match at Utz Field.

The game remained scoreless through the first half and into the second before Brevard broke through with the game’s only goal in the 41st minute.

Polk County Middle (1-3, 1-2 BRC) next plays March 23, hosting Flat Rock Middle.
