Polk County Middle notched its second straight win Tuesday, handing Apple Valley a 5-2 loss in Blue Ridge Conference girls soccer action in Hendersonville.
The Wolverines improved to 2-3 with the win. The Knights dropped to 1-3.
Reeve Carroll scored four goals and Hurley Bell added one as the Wolverines took command of the match early and dominated for the victory.
“Kenley Savia had great runs, and Raney Tallon was on fire and really played great offensively and defensively,” said Polk Middle head coach Jessica Marrow.
“Reeve won every 50/50 ball that was in her favor – she played like that soccer ball was hers. I’m super pumped for the girls on the win.”
Polk Middle wraps up the first half of its schedule on Wednesday, traveling to Flat Rock for a 4:30 p.m. match.
