Polk Middle romps past Chase Middle to kick off season

Molly Justice scored four goals Thursday as Polk County Middle overwhelmed Chase Middle 9-1 in the Wolverines’ season opener in Forest City.

Kenley Savaia added three goals as the Wolverines rolled to victory in their 2024 debut.

“The girls played very well for the season opener,” said Polk Middle head coach Jessica Marrow. “They showed their hard word from practice and a lot of dedication.

“We had great communication and teamwork on the field. I am excited for the season to continue with a great group of girls that work as a team.”

Aria Parmalee and Jill Brown each added a goal for Polk.

Polk Middle is set to travel Monday to Smoky Mountain Middle for a 4:30 p.m. match.
