Polk JVs shut down Mitchell to earn 2-0 win

Hannah Henderson and Lauren Dotson each scored goals Wednesday to lead Polk County’s junior varsity to a 2-0 win over Mitchell in girls soccer action at G.M. Tennant Stadium.

The Wolverines took the 2-0 lead by halftime and kept the Mountaineers at bay in the second half.

Polk County returns to action on Thursday, hosting Avery at 5 p.m.
