Late goals propel Landrum JVs past Polk County

Landrum scored a pair of second-half goals Wednesday to push past Polk County, 3-1, in a junior varsity girls soccer match in Landrum.

The Cardinals rallied from an early 1-0 deficit, evening the match at 1-1 in the first half on a Polk County own goal before scoring twice in the final 20 minutes.

Cassidy Ash scored the first-half goal for Polk County (2-5).
