Landrum nips Polk junior varsity, 3-2

Landrum completed a season sweep of Polk County on Monday, handing the junior varsity Wolverines a 3-2 setback in girls soccer action at Landrum.

The Wolverines dropped to 2-9-1 with the loss. Landrum earned a 2-0 win earlier this season in the first meeting between the two schools.

Logan Morlino and Jen Guerrero each scored for Polk County, with Ailey Morlino and Jennifer Gonzalez adding assists.

Polk County is back in action on Wednesday, traveling to Owen for a 5 p.m. Western Highlands Conference game.
