Reeve Carroll scored four goals Monday to help lift Polk County Middle to a 6-1 victory over Flat Rock Middle in Flat Rock.

The Wolverines improved to 4-3 with the Blue Ridge Conference victory.

Carroll and Leah Dotson each scored once before Flat Rock tallied to make it 2-1. Carroll then responded with three goals, each assisted by Dotson.

Gabby Savaia closed the scoring with an assist from Charley Dusenbury.

“We also had a good showing defensively,” said Polk Middle head coach Stephanie Luedi, citing the play of defenders Heaven Villarreal, Taylor Deel, Savaia, Jillian Brown, Haven Wilkins, Adelyn Pena and Khloe Kitchen.
