Polk County Middle battled Flat Rock Middle to a 1-1 tie Tuesday in a Blue Ridge Middle School Conference girls soccer match in Flat Rock.

Reese Alley scored the lone goal for the Wolverines, who are now 3-3-1 on the season.

Polk County is back in action on Thursday, traveling to Hendersonville Middle for a 4:30 p.m. clash. Polk Middle is then slated to close its regular season with three home games next week.
