Ryleigh Dill and Emily Dotson each scored four points in the fourth quarter to spark Polk County Middle’s comeback in a 28-26 victory over Brevard Middle in Tuesday’s Blue Ridge Conference regular-season finale at Polk Middle.
The Wolverines (5-9) trailed 21-16 entering the fourth quarter before rallying with a 12-5 run to close the game.
Dill and Dotson each led Polk County Middle with 10 points. Ava Caristo added four, and Preslie Bradley and Myrakle Gary each scored two.
Brevard Middle fell to 0-12.
Polk County Middle finished fourth in the BRC East Division and qualified for the league’s postseason tournament.
