Olivia Overholt had 17 points in Friday's win

Polk County romped to a 61-21 victory Friday at Chase in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference girls basketball matchup.

The Wolverines (11-5, 6-3) opened a 14-0 lead at the end of the first period and were never threatened thereafter. All 10 players in uniform scored for Polk.

Chase dropped to 1-13, 0-8.

Olivia Overholt led Polk with 17 points, with Tori Thompson scoring seven. Kiera Littlejohn and Gavionna Carson each added six, with Brianna Gray, Mia Bradley and Sarah Gray each scoring five.

Tali Thompson and Kylie Lewis each finished with four points, with Kinsley Huskey scoring two.

The two teams meet again Monday at Polk, with the Wolverines celebrating Senior Night. Action will begin at 5:30 p.m.
