Polk County guard Bailey Staton will soon have to make a decision she’s anticipated for quite some time.
As Staton gears up for her final season at Polk County, she currently holds official offers to continue her playing career from seven colleges and universities.

- Guilford College
- Montreat College
- Piedmont University
- University of Pikeville
- Warren Wilson College
- William Peace University
Staton said there are several other schools with whom she has had conversations, but hasn’t yet received an official offer.
The senior standout said she hopes to make a decision in the next few weeks. Practice for the 2025-26 season begins on Oct. 29.
Staton begins her senior season needing 253 points to become Polk County’s all-time leading scorer.
