Polk Middle victory run ends at Flat Rock

Flat Rock snapped Polk Middle’s winning streak on Monday, keeping the Wolverine offense in check for a 31-16 victory in Flat Rock.

The Eagles (4-2) took charge of the game in the second quarter, building a 17-9 lead by halftime. Flat Rock then held Polk Middle (3-3) to just two points in the third quarter to help seal the win.

Kenzie Alm led Polk Middle with nine points, with Camdyn Israel-Garrett scoring five and Lucy Tessnair adding two.

Polk Middle will be back in action on Thursday, traveling to Hendersonville Middle for a 4:30 p.m. game.
