Kenzie Alm scored 20 points to lead Polk County Middle to a 30-23 victory over Brevard Middle in Monday’s Blue Ridge Conference girls basketball game in Brevard.
The Wolverines (2-4) trailed 7-6 after the first quarter but took control with an 8-4 second-quarter advantage to build a 14-11 halftime lead. Polk County extended its advantage to 24-16 after three quarters.
Preslie Bradley and Kayla Hayford each added four points for the Wolverines. Liana Sokil and Myrakle Gary finished with one apiece.

Brevard Middle fell to 0-6.
