Polk County advanced Tuesday to the championship game of the Wells Fargo WNC Holiday Classic Blue Ridge Division, rolling past Southlake Christian 64-37 in a semifinal game at Carolina Day School.
The Wolverines (5-5) will face undefeated Rosman on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in UNC Asheville’s Justice Gym. The Tigers defeated Hickory Grove 57-41 in Tuesday’s other semifinal.
Hayley Kropp narrowly missed a triple-double in the win, scoring 28 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and adding nine steals. Kropp also had six blocked shots.

Autumn Owen continued her torrid offensive output of late, adding 22 points and five rebounds.
Polk County also got seven points from Bella Marino and four points from Alana Seay. Ansley Lynch grabbed five rebounds.
