Polk County raced to a 33-12 halftime lead Thursday and went on to top East Henderson, 61-17, in a non-conference girls basketball game in Flat Rock.
The Wolverines (8-2) dominated the Eagles (1-9) from the outset in recording their largest margin of victory this season.
Olivia Overholt had 16 points and Tori Thompson had 11 to lead Polk County, with Mia Bradley adding eight and Brianna Gray and Kiera Littlejohn each scoring seven.
Kinsley Huskey and Kylie Lewis each had four points while Gavionna Carson and Sarah Gray each had two.
Polk County is now off until Jan. 14 for end-of-semester exams. The Wolverines will travel that day to East Rutherford for a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference matchup.
