Mitchell’s junior varsity girls notched a 53-28 win Friday over Polk County in a Western Highlands Conference meeting in Ledger.
The Wolverines dropped to 4-7 with the loss.
Amy Chupp had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Polk County, with Savannah Parris scoring six. Kaylin Jenkins had five points, with Lauren Dotson scoring four and DeAsia Green adding three.
