Polk County’s 2024 Homecoming Queen has a new crown.
Wolverine senior Kylie Lewis established Tuesday a new school career record for rebounds, setting the mark during the first half of Polk County’s 70-30 win over R-S Central in the semifinals of the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference Basketball Tournament.
Lewis unofficially finished the night with nine rebounds, giving her 908 for her career. That surpasses the old mark of 902 set by Kim Staley Fettig, now a Polk assistant coach who watched from the bench as Lewis broke her record.
