Kropp becomes Polk County’s career scoring leader

Hayley Kropp has now scored more points than any girls basketball player in Polk County history.

With her fifth point Thursday night at Brevard, that coming on a 3-pointer in the first quarter, Kropp became Polk County’s career scoring leader, surpassing the previous mark of 1,084 points set by Kim Staley in 2003-2007. Kropp finished with 23 points in Polk County’s 50-39 loss to the Blue Devils.

Kropp now has 1,103 career points. She is averaging 23.1 points per game thus far this season.
