Bre Kenan led all scorers Monday with 16 points, but Hendersonville Middle earned a 29-17 win over Polk County Middle in girls basketball action at Polk Middle.
The Wolverines, now 1-4 in Blue Ridge Middle School Conference play, held a 10-8 lead at halftime before Hendersonville pulled away in the second half.
“Our team has made great strides since the beginning of the season, and I am confident we are getting better and will continue to do so as our schedule continues,” said Polk County head coach Michelle Fagan.

Polk County Middle travels to Flat Rock on Thursday in its final game before the Christmas holiday break.
