Polk County shot 58 percent from the floor Monday to remain unbeaten with a 58-35 victory over East Henderson in girls basketball action in Flat Rock.
The Wolverines (5-0) built a 31-18 halftime lead and pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Eagles 17-5 to take a 48-23 advantage into the final period.
Bailey Staton led Polk County with 18 points. Amiyah Waters added 13 points and nine rebounds, Reeve Carroll finished with nine points, five assists and five steals, and Charley Dusenbury scored eight.

Honesty Jackson contributed six points and five assists, Exziah Staley had two and Amber Chupp added two.
The Wolverines shot 24 of 41 from the floor in the game.
East Henderson fell to 2-5.
Polk County returns home Tuesday to face Brevard in its final non-conference game before the start of Western Highlands Conference play on Friday.
