The Cavaliers handed Polk County a 65-36 setback in a matchup of Mountain Foothills 7 Conference co-leaders in Bostic.

East Rutherford (14-0, 4-0) grabbed a 19-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, then extended that advantage to 34-17 at the half, taking control of the battle for first place in the MF7.

Olivia Overholt finished with 18 points to lead Polk County (8-3, 3-1), with Tori Thompson adding seven. Gavionna Carson and Kylie Lewis each had four points and Kinsley Huskey added three.
