East Henderson JVs spoil season debut for Wolverines

East Henderson defeated Polk County 49-20 in Tuesday’s junior varsity girls basketball action at Polk County.

The Eagles built a 16-6 lead after the first quarter and led 26-10 at halftime before pulling away in the second half.

Amber Chupp led the Wolverines (0-1) with eight points. Camdyn Israel-Garrett and Kendall Taylor each added four, and Audy Simmons and Lucy Tessnair finished with two apiece.
