Hendersonville Middle outscored Polk County Middle 25-12 over the final three quarters to rally for a 29-20 victory in Thursday’s Blue Ridge Conference girls basketball game.
The Wolverines (3-8) led 8-4 after the first quarter before the Bearcats (5-4) took control with a 12-5 second-quarter advantage to build a 16-13 halftime lead.
Kenzie Alm, Ryleigh Dill and Emily Dotson each led Polk County Middle with six points. Preslie Bradley added two.
