Wolverines slate Trevor Arrowood Night for Friday’s home game

Polk County’s football program will remember one of its own Friday, designating this week’s home game with Salisbury as Trevor Arrowood Night.

The evening will honor the memory of Arrowood, a 2014 graduate of Polk County High School and former Wolverine athlete who passed away earlier this year after a battle with cancer.

To honor Arrowood’s memory, his family has established Trevor’s Gift, a scholarship created for students who plan to study criminal justice at Western Carolina University.

Polk County players are wearing a special #trevorstrong sticker on their helmets this season in honor of Arrowood.

Arrowood’s family will be at the game to share more about the Trevor’s Gift program. Information is also available on the Trevor’s Gift Facebook page.
