WHC football coaches predict fourth-place finish for Wolverines

Western Highlands Conference football coaches expect Polk County to finish fourth this season according to a presason poll conducted by an area website.

CarolinaSportsNut.com surveyed multiple coaches from each WHC team to produce its preseason ranking.

Coaches picked Mountain Heritage to repeat as WHC champions, followed by Mitchell and Owen.

Polk County, coming off a 9-4 season, was tabbed fourth ahead of Avery and Madison.
