Weaver surpasses 3,000 rushing yards for Polk career

Polk County senior Angus Weaver surpassed 3,000 career rushing yards during Friday’s 42-28 victory at Newton-Conover.

Weaver moved past the mark on his sixth carry, a five-yard scamper over the right side.

Weaver finished the game with 107 yards on 18 carries and now has 3,081 yards for his career. He scored a career-high five touchdowns in the victory, with three touchdown receptions and two scoring runs.
