Ticket price set for Polk County football playoff opener

Admission price for Friday’s first-round 1AA football playoff game between East Wilkes and Polk County will be $8.

The North Carolina High School Athletic Associations sets ticket prices for all postseason events. Only NCHSAA passes will be accepted for the game. The $8 ticket price is for adults and students.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. in G.M. Tennant Stadium. The game is a rematch of Polk County’s 33-16 win in 2018 at East Wilkes.
