Polk County will open competition in the state 2A football playoffs on Friday at Southwestern Randolph.

Here is some information relating to the game, which will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold, cash only, at the gate. Tickets will be $8 as set by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.

The game is slated to be shown live on the NFHS Network, barring any technical issues at the stadium.

Southwestern Randolph is located in Asheboro. The school is roughly a drive of two hours and 40 minutes from Polk County High School.
