Polk County's Antonio Simpson (1) and Keaundae Green celebrate a touchdown in the Wolverines' regular-season finale at Brevard

Polk County’s Antonio Simpson and Keaundrae Green have received selection to the All-Western North Carolina football squad as chosen by the Citizen-Times in Asheville and Times-News in Hendersonville.

Simpson received first-time selection as a wide receiver while Green was a third-time selection as a wide receiver.

Simpson finished the season with 885 yards on 50 receptions with eight touchdowns. He also finished the regular season with 80 tackles, including 32 tackles for loss, and had an interception return for a touchdown.

Green had 48 catches for 670 yards and eight touchdowns. He also threw a touchdown pass and finished the regular season with 47 tackles and three interceptions.

Robbinsville’s Cuttler Adams was named the Offensive Player of the Year while Brevard’s Zion Brown was named the Defensive Player of the Year. West Henderson’s Paul Whitaker was named the All-WNC Coach of the Year.
