Polk football players lend a hand at Tryon Elementary

1 min read

Polk County’s football team has been busy this summer preparing for the 2026 season.

But that didn’t stop the Wolverines from lending a hand Monday to the staff at Tryon Elementary School.

Members of Polk County’s program trekked to Tryon and helped school staff move furniture between classrooms. Players and head coach Dustin Fry hauled desks, chairs, tables and other items from room to room to help staff prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
