Polk County's Lorenzo Sanches cuts upfield during Tuesday's practice

Polk County worked through its second day of preseason practice on Tuesday, gearing up for the August 18 season opener with Madison.

Head coach Dustin Fry led the Wolverines through a morning-long session, progressing through a series of drills on the Polk practice field.

The Wolverines will begin contact drills on Saturday, then have two preseason scrimmages slated. Polk County will host Bessemer City on August 9 at 6:30 p.m. before traveling to Erwin on August 11 to scrimmage T.C. Roberson at 6 p.m.

The season opener with Madison will be in G.M. Tennant Stadium.
