Brandon Bell threw two touchdown passes and ran for another Friday to lead Kings Mountain to a 28-7 victory over Polk County in action at the Cleveland County Football Jamboree.

The two-quarter meeting came as the opening session of the jamboree, held at Gardner-Webb University, and served as the Wolverines’ final preseason scrimmage prior to next week’s season opener at Shelby.

Bell had touchdown passes of 21 and 58 yards and scored on a 7-yard run to lead the Mountaineers. Darian McClain scored Kings Mountain’s other touchdown on a 6-yard run.

Tanner Garrett caught a 24-yad touchdown pass late in the half to account for Polk County’s only touchdown.
