Brevard JVs top Polk in season finale

Brevard opened a 28-0 lead in the first quarter Wednesday en route to a 48-0 win over Polk County in junior varsity football action in G.M. Tennant Stadium.

The Blue Devils scored on a pair of pass plays, a run and a fumble recovery to build their lead. Brevard extended the margin to 34-0 at the half and then added touchdowns in each of the final two periods.

Polk County ends a season that included a number of newcomers to the program with an 0-6 record.
