Polk County’s Styler Blackwell has been named one of 10 sophomores to watch in Western North Carolina football this season by the Citizen-Times in Asheville.

Blackwell posted 57 tackles during the first 10 games of his freshman season. He also ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries and caught four passes for 35 yards and two touchdowns.

Polk County opens its 2024 regular season on Aug. 23 at Madison.
