Polk Middle teams finish fourth, place two runners in top three at home meet

Both Polk County Middle School cross country teams finished fourth Tuesday at a meet held at Polk County Middle and the Polk County Recreation Complex.

Noah Hammond paced the boys squad with a third-place finish, while Sophia Junge led the girls team with a second-place showing.

Other top finishers for the boys included Noah Gutierrez in 18th, John McGrath in 24th, Eric Ramirez in 28th and Kelton Kitchen in 33rd.

The girls team also saw contributions from Nora Williams in 17th, Rylie Klimstra in 30th, Lucy Delmas in 32nd and Kayla Hayford in 33rd.
