Overholt, Thompson go 1-2 at The Farm Invitational

Olivia Overholt and Tori Thompson delivered a 1-2 finish Wednesday in a three-team cross country meet at R-S Central.

Overholt took top honors in The Farm Invitational, hosted by Chase, completing the R-S Central course in 21:10.60. Thompson followed in second with a time of 23:07.28.

Braxton Edwards led the Polk County boys, placing third with a time of 19:23.25. Mark Teague followed in fourth, with Jayln Thomas also finishing in the top 10.

The Wolverines finished second in the team race with 39 points to R-S Central’s 22. Chase took third with 76 points.
