The Polk County Wolverines Summer Basketball Camps series kicked off Saturday with 19 campers attending a shooting camp at Polk County High School.
Will Holloman, a former college standout in Florida, led the group through a series of drills designed to improve their basketball skills. Players from fourth grade through 11th grade attended the camp.
“The staff was impressed with the care that Will showed while teaching kids basketball and sharing both life and basketball knowledge,” said Polk County head basketball coach Lemont Jones. “Hopefully we can have him return next spring.”
There are two more sessions planned in the series of camps – more details can be found here.
