Tryon’s Ben Thompson journeyed out of state and still brought home a pair of top-three motocross finishes.

Thompson competed Nov. 8 in the 2020 Seven Mini Major East at Silver Dollar MX Park in Reynolds, Ga.

Thompson took the top spot in the 85cc/150F Open Novice Beginnger class and grabbed second in the 85cc/150F Novice class. He also came home 14th in the 85cc/150F Supermini 3 Open division.
