The Tryon Half Marathon is set to return to Polk County on Saturday, Nov. 12, kicking off at Harmon Field in Tryon.
Presented by Ashworth Financial, the annual race is a favorite among runners for its flat, scenic route, crisp fall weather and hot homemade breakfast casseroles that all runners enjoy.
Race winners this year will receive handcrafted medals made by Living Concepts and featuring a new design to celebrate the 10th year of the race.
All proceeds from the race benefit Outreach, a local non-profit that provides assistance with food and shelter to Polk County neighbors.
The Marathon will begin Nov. 12 at 8 a.m.
