Town of Tryon Parks and Recreation, in partnership with TennisBloc, will offer pickleball and tennis instructional programs this spring for adults and youth at Harmon Field.

Both programs will run on Saturdays from March 4-May 6, skipping April 8. The programs cost $85 for one lesson per week for nine weeks.

The pickleball program is designed for adults of all skill ratings. Players should bring a paddle, water bottle, athletic attire and sun protection to each class.

Available sessions include:

Adult Beginner
Saturdays, 2:30-3:30 p.m

Adult Intermediate
Saturdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m

Adult Advanced
Saturdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m

The tennis program is designed for youth and adults of all ages and skill levels. Players should bring a water bottle, sun protection, a tennis racket that is the correct size and athletic shoes with non-marking tread.

8 and Unders (Ages 5-8, Beginner and Intermediate)
Saturdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

10 and Unders (Beginner and Intermediate)
Saturdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

14 and Unders (Beginner and Intermediate)
Saturdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

18 and Unders (Beginner and Intermediate)
Saturdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Adults (Beginner and Intermediate)
Saturdays, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
