Summer tennis programs set to start in Mill Spring, Tryon

Polk County Parks and Recreation Department, the Town of Tryon Recreation Department and Tennis Bloc are offering summer tennis programs for juniors and adults.

Summer sessions will begin Sunday at Polk County Recreation Complex and Monday at Harmon Field, with lessons running through the first week of August. The programs are designed to offer a balance of fun and technique development with the goal of building a strong tennis community in Polk County.

Cost for the program is $85 for one lesson per week for all nine weeks or $160 for two lessons per week.

Ages 5-8, Beginner & Intermediate
Sundays, 5-6 p.m.

8 and Under Beginner / 10 and Under Beginner
Thursdays, 6-7 p.m.

14 and Under Beginner & Intermediate
Sundays, 6-7 p.m.

Adult Beginner & Intermediate
Thursdays, 7-8 p.m.
