Robinsons place 1-2 in Tennessee rifle competition

Members of the Polk County Gun Club competed Sept. 4 in the Tennessee State High Power Rifle Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

The daughter-and-father duo of Haley and Bobby Robinson finished first and second in the event. Haley Robinson won the competition in the final round, scoring 198 of 200 points in the round.

Members of the Gun Club’s Youth High Power team also competed, with Colby Cossette, Peyton Cooper and Huntley Cooper all taking part and shooting well.
