Rivera earns All-American recognition at I-64 Fall Duals

Polk County freshman Efrain Rivera earned All-American honors Saturday at the Interstate 64 Fall Duals in Virginia Beach, Va.

Wrestling in the 106-pound class with the Real Life Wrestling Club of Rutherfordton, Rivera finished a perfect 6-0 at the event, which featured more than 20 teams.

In addition to earning High School All-American status, Rivera was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler for Real Life at the event.
