Quoyle scores medals at Greenville jiu jitsu competition

Polk County Middle School eighth grader Rocco Quoyle recently earned three medals at the Newbreed Jiu Jitsu Federation American Cup competition in Greenville.

Quoyle finished with a goal medal in the Youth 2, No-Gi Co-Ed Division, competing in the 12-13 / Beginner / Cruiserweight bracket. He scored a 2-0 win over Evan Matthews of Creighton MMA in the championship match.

Quoyle also earned silver medals in two divisions:

  • Youth 2, No-Gi Co-Ed Division, competing in the 12-13 / Beginner / Heavyweight
  • Youth 2, Gi Co-Ed Division, competing in the 12-13 / White or Grey W/ White / Cruiserweight

Quoyle is a red belt student at Revolution Martial Arts in Boiling Springs.`
