Polk County Youth Baseball League to hold camp on Dec. 12

Polk County Youth Baseball League will hold a youth baseball camp on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Polk County Recreation Complex in Columbus.

Cost of the camp is $45, which includes a T-shirt. The camp will run from noon until 4 p.m. and is designed for boys and girls ages 4-12.

Minor leaguer Joel Booker, a former Polk County standout, and a group of male and female college players will provide instruction. Players are asked to bring all equipment, including glove, bat, helmet, cleats, tennis shoes and water bottle. All campers must wear a face mask.

In case of inclement weather, the camp will be held at Stearns Gym.
