Polk County Volleyball Club’s 12U squad made a successful debut in a weekend in which three of the club’s teams were in action.

PCVC 12U competed in the SAVL Challenge Series event in Spartanburg. The team finished in second place, going 3-1 in the all-day event on Saturday.

PCVC’s lone loss came to tournament champion Upward Stats 12 Morgan, a 25-15, 25-22 setback.

PCVC’s 14U Blue team also competed in the SAVL tourney, going 0-3 in Saturday’s matches.

PCVC’s 16U squad traveled to Rock Hill to compete in the 2021 Charlotte AAU Grand Prix. The team finished 2-3 for the weekend, tying for 11th place.

PCVC 16U defeated Queen City Volleyball Academy 16 Michelle of Charlotte 25-20, 25-20 and High Rock Volleyball Club 16 American Black of Salisbury 25-13, 25-14.

Two of the team’s three losses were in three-set matches.
