Hoots wins Class D race at Daniels Ridge

Peyton Hoots of Mill Spring took top honors Jan. 3 in the 85cc Class D race at Daniels Ridge MX in Taylorsville.

Hoots finished ahead of a 10-rider field that also included Mill Spring’s Bo Reid, who placed ninth after being unable to start the second of two races in the event. Reid placed fourth in the first race.

Hoots also took fourth in the 85cc Open class.
