Polk County Youth Football’s 9-10-year-old squad is one step away from a championship.

The Wolverine Mitey Mites defeated West Gastonia 14-0 on Saturday, earning a spot in the Mid-Atlantic Carolinas American Youth Football & Cheer Conference Super Bowl.
