Ache Around the Lake set for October 14

The annual Ache Around the Lake 8K and related races will be held October 14 beginning at 8 a.m. at Lake Lanier.

The races, always a highlight for local runners, are held as a fundraiser for The Foundation for St. Luke’s Hospital, a nonporift organization that supports St. Luke’s Hospital.

There are three races held as part of the Ache schedule:

  • A kids 1-mile fun run. There is no cost to run in this event.
  • The Ouch 2-Mile run. Entry fee is $30 until Oct. 1 and then $35.
  • The Ache Around the Lake 8K. Entry fee is $35 until Oct. 1 and then $40.

Any Polk County resident 18 and under can enter a race for free by using the code ACHEKIDS2023.
